This is the ongoing home for Retatrutide clinical trial news on the forum — new publications, conference presentations, Lilly announcements, and Phase 3 trial developments. Post new, sourced updates as they come out.

Where things currently stand (as of mid-2026)

    • TRIUMPH-1 (Phase 3, obesity/overweight) — Lilly reported positive topline results on May 21, 2026: up to 28.3% average weight loss at 80 weeks on the 12 mg dose, with select participants reaching 30.3% in a 104-week extension.
    • TRANSCEND-T2D-1 (Phase 3, type 2 diabetes) — topline results reported March 19, 2026: A1C reductions of roughly 1.7–2.0% and weight loss up to 16.8% at 40 weeks on the 12 mg dose.
    • TRIUMPH-Outcomes (cardiovascular and kidney outcomes trial) — still ongoing.
    • Head-to-head vs. tirzepatide (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT06662383) — still ongoing; results expected around the end of 2026.
    • An earlier Phase 2a trial in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) was published in Nature Medicine, showing substantial reductions in liver fat.

    What belongs in this thread

    • New peer-reviewed publications
    • Conference presentations (e.g., ADA, ObesityWeek, EASD)
    • Official Eli Lilly announcements and press releases
    • Phase 3 trial status updates and newly posted ClinicalTrials.gov results

When you post an update, please link the primary source (the journal article, the trial registry page, or Lilly’s own newsroom/investor release) rather than a secondhand summary. That keeps this thread useful as a research reference rather than a rumor mill.

Educational discussion only — this thread tracks public research and company disclosures, not medical guidance.
