Shipping is often the most concrete, easily verifiable part of a supplier interaction, which makes it one of the more valuable things to document clearly. This post covers what turns a shipping report from a vague comment into genuinely useful information for other researchers.

What to Include

A useful shipping report covers: the general timeframe from order to shipment notification, and from shipment to delivery (exact dates aren’t necessary, but a rough window is helpful); the shipping method or carrier if known; how the package was packaged and whether temperature-sensitive items appeared to be handled appropriately; whether tracking information was provided and whether it was accurate and updated; and the condition of the package and contents on arrival. General region (for example, “domestic” versus “international”) is more useful than precise personal address information, which should never be posted.

Why Specifics Matter More Than Adjectives

“Shipping was fast” tells another reader almost nothing actionable. “Order confirmed within a day, shipped within the advertised window, tracking updated regularly, arrived intact within the stated delivery estimate” tells them something they can actually compare against their own experience or expectations. The goal is a report someone else could use to calibrate their own expectations, not just a general impression.

Privacy and Safety

Never post full tracking numbers, order numbers, home addresses, or any other personally identifying information — your own or anyone else’s. If you’re including a photo of packaging, redact any visible labels containing this information before posting.

What Doesn’t Belong Here

Keep shipping reports focused on the logistics of the transaction — not on describing personal use of any compound that arrived. This board is about supplier transparency (how the transaction and delivery were handled), not about dosing, administration, or personal health outcomes.
